Nan sat at the table and looked across the room.
“Have you all seen what he is up to now? He thinks he is Michael Jackson, did you see that?”
The rest of the group looked up. Grandad was too scared to speak, he didn’t want to admit he loved a dance to Michael Jackson songs.
“Yeah I did see that” said Matthew, “why can’t he get a job, seems like a bit of a layabout.”
Nobody spoke. They all shook their head.
Nan pulled at the pot of tea and offered it to those at the table before commenting: “somebody said me the other day, if he offends us so much, why do we spend so much time watching him?”
Silence filled the room. Glances turned from around the table to their phones in their hands.
